On the initiative of Brno writer and publisher Martin Reiner, the gable areas of Zábrdovice houses are gradually being transformed into a street art gallery. A number of important Czech artists have left their murals here, including Jiří David, František Skála and Eva Koťátková.

The neighbourhood of Block A[rt] has become the subject of one of the most significant projects of the now world-famous social artist Kateřina Šedá. She has transformed years of observation of life in the "Brno Bronx" into an original guide to everyday life here.

The newly created community and creative space in the Nová Zbrojovka area comes alive with art, theatre, and a selection of coffee with its own roastery. There are also spaces for coworking and art studios.
